About the Artist

Marlo's fun loving demeanor and professionalism make her a pleasure to work with and ensures her clients an enjoyabe experience while capturing priceless photographic images they will treasure for a lifetime.

Marlo has attended the nationally recognized Texas School for Professional Photographers. She is an active member of The Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA), and the Heart of Texas Professional Photographers Guild.

Photography has been a lifelong passion of Marlo's. She completed her first Photography course at Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1991, where she was awarded for her work in an art exhibit. After graduating from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, Marlo pursued a career as a youth and family counselor. Although she loved her work as a counselor, Photography has always been her true passion.

Marlo is married to Curt Collins and is the proud mother of two sons, Coy and Caden. Over the years, Marlo has enjoyed photographing friends and family, and has now evolved into doing professional photography, specializing in weddings and portraiture. With much encouragement and support from family and friends, Marlo has successfully turned her passion for photography and love for working with people into the career of her dreams.

With her own "digital darkroom" at her fingertips, Marlo has access to a limitless world of creative possibilities. Her artistic and creative talents coupled with her demand for quality have quickly established her as one of the most sought after photographers in the Waco area.
